The TAG program has an emphasis on Science and Social Studies, but we are always making cross-curricular connections. Since we meet once a week, it is very important that you complete your blog posts on time.

FIELD TRIPS: Throughout the year, we have the opportunity to enhance our enrichment opportunities in TAG by taking field trips. I will let you know the cost and chaperone opportunities involved well in advance! The past few years we've had the pleasure of visiting The Federal Reserve, Fernbank, Young Chef's Academy, High Museum of Art, Indian Festival and Pow Wow at Stone Mountain, Center for Disease Control, Circus Arts Atlanta, Mistletoe State Park, Columbus Space & Science Center, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and Tybee Island!

- 100 page composition book exclusively for TAG (students are also welcome to use the previous year's notebook if it is still housed in the classroom)
- School agenda
- Poster or foam board
- Bean bag (if you have not already contributed!) We have an abundance of yoga mats 😊
- Air Wick Air Freshener refills (please no lavender or vanilla!)
- Contributions to our Prop Box (ex., gently used costumes, hats, etc.). The Dollar Tree has lots of cool, quirky items that will enrich our authentic photo/video products!
- Technology- iPads, tablets, etc. are welcomed as long as learners utilize responsibility
